Email standards
Effective 21 August 2026 · Want Ltd, London, United Kingdom
What this policy covers
This policy applies to email sent from any domain operated by Want Ltd, including want.london, wantconnection.com, and the secondary sending domains we operate. It sits alongside our privacy policy.
Prohibition on unsolicited bulk advertising
We do not permit want, our web sites, or any domain we operate to be advertised through unsolicited bulk email. No affiliate, partner, agency, or other third party is authorised to send email promoting want or its domains on our behalf, and we do not sell or share our domains or brand for use in anyone else's mailings. If you have received bulk email advertising want from a sender other than us, it was sent without our authorisation; please report it to us at the address below.
Standards for email we send
- Every message authenticates with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Every non-transactional message carries a working unsubscribe, including RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe headers.
- Opt-outs take effect immediately, are permanent, and are recorded in a single suppression register applied across all of our sending systems.
- Business correspondence is limited in volume, individually addressed, and signed by a named member of our team, with a working reply address.
- We maintain records of the provenance of the addresses we correspond with, and we honour access and deletion requests under UK data protection law as described in our privacy policy.
Opting out
Use the unsubscribe link in any message, or write to team@want.london from the address you want removed. Either route is honoured immediately and permanently. You do not need to give a reason.
Reporting a concern
If you believe you have received email that does not meet these standards, forward it with full headers to team@want.london. We review every report and act promptly, including suppressing your address on request.
